Careers

LFSF seeks to attract, nurture and retain individuals of the highest professional integrity and caliber who are committed to international education and fully believe in the power of a multilingual and multicultural environment as a gateway to educating tomorrow’s global citizens.

The vast majority of our teachers are certified, whether in France, the US or in the home country. Teachers also usually have at least three years of teaching experience. We seek individuals able to work collaboratively within teams and the framework of a whole-school project. For other professional positions, we expect to see strong evidence of experience in the particular area as well as the ability to work well within a team environment.

We're looking for stars

MEET OUR FACULTY & STAFF

S01 E07 | Alexandre

Alexandre comes from the West Coast... of France. He only lived outside of Brittany once before joining the LFSF. Here, he enjoys teaching smaller groups of students so that he can tailor his pedagogy to each of them. As someone who used to teach in English in France and now teaches in French in the US. He appreciates the bilingual aspect of the curriculum.

S02 E06 | Isabelle

All the way from Reunion Island, Isabelle reveals her secret to maintaining a healthy and caring classroom environment... To find out more about our preschool teacher, watch her story.

S01 E12 | Xuebing

Xuebing is passionate about languages and it's one of the reasons why she chose to be a teacher. Besides Mandarin, she speaks French, English, two Chinese dialects, some Japanese and she is learning Spanish! Her students also have the opportunity to better understand the Chinese culture through events such as the Lunar New Year. Last year, the celebrations were memorable!

S01 E11 | Fabian

Meet Fabian, LFSF IT Director. His interest for technology (and his love for tech solutions and gadgets!) as well as his exceptional work during the pandemic naturally led him to build and oversee the IT team. Before that, Fabian had many lives: LFSF parent, professional photographer and LFSF communication manager. A jack of all trades, who's also perfectly fluent in German, English and French!
