The Lycée Français La Pérouse is a not-for-profit 501c3 organization registered with the State of California and accredited by the French Government, as well as by the California Association of Independent Schools and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Its tuitions are significantly lower than other private schools in the area, and it offers a Financial Assistance Program for qualified families.
I - TUITION FEES:
Part-time Preschool (Corte Madera) $ 11,770.00
Preschool through 5th Grade $ 17,580.00
6th Grade through 9th Grade $ 18,650.00
10th Grade through 12th Grade $ 23,080.00
As in all independent schools, tuition must be supplemented by fundraising to fill the gap between tuition and the full educational cost of a student. All families are encouraged to help close the gap and maintain our tuition levels by making a fully tax-deductible donation to the Lycée’s annual fund.
II – REGISTRATION AND ENROLLMENT FEE:
Aregistration and enrollment fee of 10% of the tuition fees per student and an Entrance fee of $1,100 per student are required before the deadline (indicated on the enrollment agreement). Please note that without a signed agreement and receipt of the fees by the school by the deadline, the space for the child may not be available and given to a child on the waiting list. This mandatory registration and enrollment fee is non-refundable but is deductible from your tuition. The one-time entrance fee is non-refundable and non-deductible from the tuition.
III - OTHER FEES:
You may also be billed for expenses not included in tuition fees, such as, but not limited to: musical instruments, optional programs such as school buses, extra-curricular activities, study hall, daycare, hot lunches (students may bring their own lunch or enroll in a hot lunch program provided by a catering service).
IV – PAYMENT PROCEDURE:
All families may choose between a payment in full by June 1, 2011 or in 10 monthly installments from July 2011 to April 2012. Upon receipt of contract and fees by the admission office, the business office will register your payment. At that time (May/June), parents will receive an email from the FACTS program in order to open a personal online account. Registration in the FACTS program is mandatory for all families except when tuition and fees are paid by an employer.
Families will have the option to pay by automatic deduction from their bank account or by credit card (MasterCard, American Express or Discover. FACTS does not accept VISA.). Please note that a convenience fee of 2.5% is added to credit card transactions.
Except when tuition fees are paid by an employer or a “prise en charge”, families qualify for the following discounts: a discount of $ 100 when tuition and fees are paid in full by June 1, 2011, and a discount of 10% on tuition fees per child starting from the second child.
For any student without a parent or legal guardian residing in the United States, fees must be paid in full upon receipt of his/her student visa.
