Extracurricular Activities & Study Hall for the Marin Campus

Many important after school activities round out our children's cultural-learning, allowing them to fully develop both physically, artistically, and intellectually.

Extra Curricular Activities, School Study Help (trimester 2) will begin on Monday, September 14th and will run until Friday, December 11th. Drop-off the forms at your campuses’ front desk. Attention: 1 form per student / 1 check per activity.

In accordance with what has been decided by the School Council

Rules
For the students: Rules are the same as the ones applied during school hours (see Corte Madera School Rules), in addition to:

  • help with homework
  • on-going study of French language
  • good behavior
  • respect for homework and others

Registration
At 3:40p.m., the children wait for the teacher in the playground (or in their classroom in case of rain). They will go together to the study hall room.

At 4:40p.m., the parents wait for their children at the door of classroom then the teachers bring the group to Day-care.

Fees And Registration
Registration is per trimester with pre-determined days each week. Registrations after deadline will be accepted according to openings. The form is published in the weekly newsletter, Marinfo. The cost is revised each year. No reimbursement after the new trimester has started.

Content
About 30 minutes of work in French, then 15 minutes in English. Children are helped, advised and little by little are taught to become autonomous. If there is any time left at the end of the session, the children are encouraged to do silent reading.
