Shadow Days | A week in the professional world for Gr10 students

Gr10 students recently stepped into the professional world by shadowing professionals in fields of their choice. This hands-on experience gave them valuable insight into careers they might pursue, and equally impactful, ones they might not! From assisting during a surgery to understanding the business behind a jewelry startup, their experiences were as diverse as they were fascinating, making this an eye-opening and memorable learning opportunity.

Black History Month Assembly

The Coalition of Black Students and Allies Club members led the assembly for Black History Month. Students from various clubs then took turns presenting projects on influential Black American artists and public figures, sharing what they had learned about their impact and legacy.

CAIS Students at ORT campus

From dumpling-making to Mandarin karaoke and friendly chopsticks challenges, students spent the morning bonding across schools. A true immersion in Mandarin language and Chinese culture for Lycee students, while CAIS students discovered our school and the possibility of continuing their international journey through the IB Track. A meaningful exchange that created real connections and a shared appreciation for language and culture. ⁠
