The Artist in residence program is a DEIB initiative that invites francophone artists from around the world to use their art and explore the themes of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Belonging by collaborating with our bilingual students. Application deadline for the 2023-2024 school year is July 31, 2023.

Our Seniors are a fun and eclectic group of nearly 50 impressive students, some who have been at LFSF since preschool - we call them lifers-, and some who only joined recently but quickly found their place in our school.
Alexandra is a Lifer, she started at LFSF when she was 3 and so will her little brother next year! She speaks English and Russian at home and has a strong interest in Philosophy and the French philosopher Sartre. She was part of the Model UN Club and enjoys public speaking but also quietly writing poetry! Next year, she's going to Wellesley College near Boston to study neuroscience and anthropology or philosophy. She plans to go to Med School next and her final goal is to be a psychiatrist! Go for it Alexandra!
Emily and Ryan are proud LFSF parents. After researching their options, they decided to enroll their oldest son, Andrew, at LFSF @SAU. He is now in Gr2/CE1 and his brother is following his footstep thanks to the Happy Play program. Besides bilingualism, Ryan and Emily enjoy the way their children learn to be independent and organized. They both are very involved in the school's life as room parent (her) and Board Trustee (him). If you don't know them yet, we invite you to learn more about their story.
