The COVID pandemic drastically impacted the process of college admissions: testing became optional, applications to selective universities have increased by as much as 50-60%, and college visits became virtual. What did not change however, are the opportunities LFSF students had to develop their personal and career goals. Our college counseling program provides LFSF students with opportunities to develop their passions on and off campus for personal enrichment and to assist in their college planning. Their experiences are recognized by universities worldwide:
- Every year, our students are admitted to world-class universities in the United States, Canada, France, the U.K. and elsewhere.
- Despite an overall increase of applications by 50-60%, this year has been a record year of positive admissions results to selective universities, including the US Ivy League, UK Russell Group, First Tier U.S. colleges, and France Grandes Ecoles de Commerce PostBac.
- The University of California received over 200,000 applications, for a ~20% increase overall in applications. From the past 10 years, LFSF students this year received record acceptances to UC Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD and UC Davis.
