How to give life to words and the body within a confined space? 

After two years tainted by confinement and altered social activities, here's an interesting paradox that the Gr 10 students of the dance or theater option will be exploring on MARCH 31. Their creative performance is based on a show, originally directed by Sylvain GROUD, but that they revisit, guided by their teacher, Santino CALCAGNO!

Come and wander through this immersive labyrinth to live a new sensitive experience that reexamines space and its relationship to the body. Protective or constrictive, alienating or stimulating, 4m2BIS is lived, embodied, and experienced as a personal interior dive out of time.

Words from the students :

Zara: "the only time being locked up is fun". 

Anaïs: it was a very interesting experience that showed the confinement and the pandemic from a completely different angle. The project combined everyone's different experiences during Covid in a very artistic and interpretive way showing all the emotions we felt and how we reacted to them.

Lucie: 4M2BIS was for me an incredible, unforgettable and unique project that allowed me and taught me to express myself through dance in a very limited space. 
 
Anne-Lise : 4M2BIS for me was a great experience that I really enjoyed. I loved all the moments and it taught me to dance in a small space. This project was great!
 
Alban: The 4m2BIS project gave me a new perspective of theater.

Charles: The 4m2BIS project made me question what art is.

Comment donner vie à la parole et au corps dans un espace confiné ? 

Voilà un drôle de paradoxe que les élèves de l’option danse et de l’option théâtre de Seconde proposent de revisiter jeudi 31 mars - d’après un spectacle mis en scène par Sylvain GROUD.

Venez alors déambuler dans ce labyrinthe immersif pour vivre une expérience sensible inédite qui ré-interroge l’espace et son rapport au corps. Protecteur ou liberticide, aliénant ou stimulant, 4m2BIS se vit, s’incarne, s’expérimente comme une plongée intérieure personnelle hors du temps.

Zara : « le seul moment où être enfermée est amusant » 

Anaïs : c’était une expérience très intéressante qui montrait le confinement et la pandémie sous un angle complètement différent. Le projet combinait les expériences différentes de tout le monde durant le Covid de façon très artistique et interprétative en montrant toutes les émotions que nous avons ressenties et comment nous avons réagi face à elles.

Lucie : 4M2BIS a été pour moi un projet incroyable, inoubliable et unique qui m'a permis et m'a appris à m'exprimer à travers la danse dans un espace très limité. 

Anne-Lise : 4M2BIS pour moi a été une superbe expérience qui m'a beaucoup plu. J'ai adoré tous les moments et ça m'a appris à danser dans un petit espace. Ce projet a été génial !

Alban : Le projet 4m2BIS m'a offert une nouvelle perspective du théâtre.
