At LFSF, we believe in the power of mentorship and camaraderie from a very young age!

Recently, our kindergartners met their Gr5 buddies for the very first time. This heartwarming connection is not just a one-time event but rather an ongoing, once-a-month occasion for our older students to become mentors and friends to the younger ones.

Our kindergartners welcome their Gr5 buddies each month, opening the door to shared reading experiences, meaningful conversations, and collaborative projects.

Beyond academics, these encounters teach our students essential social skills, and encourage them to engage with other students, from other grades and outside of their usual classroom.

This initiative embodies our school's sense of community, emphasizing the importance of uplifting and supporting one another, and above all, belonging to LFSF.

Virginia REMONDINO, English teacher, recalls: "Even if we were nervous and shy at the start, by the end of our time together, we were more comfortable with our buddies". It's a reminder that education is a shared journey, where students learn from and inspire each other.
