March is Women's History Month
For Women's History Month, many activities were organized throughout March :
- Theatre plays :
- MARCH 30 : Gr10 perform short plays about Women in STEM during Lunch Breaks
- MARCH 31 : The award-winning national hit Truth Values, will be followed by a talk
- Bake sales :
- MARCH 15: The LFSF club "Women's Rights Association" supports the local SF non-profit "Sf Women Against Rape"
- MARCH 28 : The LFSF club "Girls Who Code" supports the Malala Fund.
- PA Garderie Craft Activities :
- MARCH 13 on SAU : Paper Plane Contest to celebrate Bessie COLEMAN
- MARCH 24 on ASH : Craft activities celebrating Bessie COLEMAN and Mae JEMISON
- The ORT Library provided a wide collection of books about women’s History, rights, and living conditions all over the world.
- Carla SALEH from L'Institut Pasteur gave a presentation on women in STEM and gender equity, a great way to inspire young women to pursue a career in science
