Start'Up Lycee is a project-based program for all LFSF Gr 10 students designed to introduce students to the process involved in creating a startup. It is part of the Economics and Social Sciences curriculum (SES).
Start'Up Lycée is an opportunity for students to expand on the skills learned during the school year (research, written argumentation, oral presentation). They are invited to offer their own solutions to a contemporary issue or topic.
Start’Up Lycee 2020 takes place on JAN 17 and 18, 2020 at the Hult Business School in San Francisco. Students develop a product (a good, a service, an app...) and prepare a business plan. At the end of the weekend, students pitch their project in front of a jury of professionals who pick the three most viable projects. LFSF community members are welcome to attend. The selected projects can be further developed during the rest of the school year.
