Our SAU preschoolers had the delightful opportunity to welcome Pierro and Maria, a charming couple visiting from Sicily, who shared their culinary expertise with the children. Together, they guided the little ones in preparing authentic Italian lasagna. The Italian chefs—who are also the in-laws of Preschool Teacher, Georgia—worked alongside the budding cooks, teaching them to chop vegetables, mix ingredients for the sauce, and layer this beloved traditional dish. This is how you learn in a nurturing environment ;)
