Students Make Impact: L.E.A.F Club's Clothing Drive Initiative

🎒✏️ This is a Student Generated Content

For the past two weeks, the L.E.A.F (Lycee Environmental Action Force) Club’s clothing drive has been collecting student donations for both used clothes and halloween costumes. The clothing drive was a success, thanks to all the efforts of (you!) students! Over 7 bags full of used clothes were collected and donated to a local thrift store, Money from the donations will also be donated to The Native Plant Society in SF!
Remember, every bit counts. Donating to local thrift stores encourages buying clothing secondhand, which helps minimize carbon emissions and unnecessary resource depletion.
Some L.E.A.F events to look forward to!

  • Bake sale in the winter
  • Holiday Grams with Ms. Jensen’s art club
  • Paper recycling project
  • Thanks for all your support!

The mural explores the themes of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, which resonates deeply with the rich cultural tapestry of San Francisco and features eight local icons, each selected by our students and symbolizing the values inherent in our community.
