XLFSF | A fun endurance race

WHAT

XLFSF (say Cross-LFSF) is an endurance run organized for Elementary students (K to Gr5) from ASH and SAU campuses as well as for Gr6 students from the ORT campus.

XLFSF is designed to inspire students to practice sports on a regular basis and notice the benefits of their practice on their level of endurance.

XLFSF is not a race. The purpose is for students to learn how to run at their own pace, manage their own abilities, and know their limits.

WHEN

OCT 15 from 10 am to 1 pm.

WHERE

At the Kezar Stadium • 670 Kezar Dr, San Francisco, CA 94118

THE EVENT

This endurance event marks the completion of an 8 to 10 week endurance training session (in SEPT and OCT). It's a step in the construction of a culture of effort, with a symbolic focus: the 2024 Olympics.

Students learned how to run at their pace, without walking or stopping, as long as possible. The run duration was determined by the child, as his/her personal goal, with the help of the teacher. The idea was to encourage the success of all and to ensure that each child learns how to run and enjoys it.
