LFSF is a curating partner and the only school participating in the 2020 Night of Ideas in San Francisco, the collaborative and interactive seven-hour program of debate, performances, dance and music featuring top thinkers from San Francisco and beyond. This international event is happening in more than 150 cities in the world and is designed to spur dialogue and creative participation.
Night of Ideas in San Francisco is presented by the San Francisco Public Library, SFMOMA, KQED, and the French Consulate. More than 30 topics relating to "Living on the Edge" will be explored over the course of the evening, on all seven floors of the Library, with each floor devoted to one of the following themes: chaos + creation, wonder + worry, exclusion + belonging, truth + doubt, and circulation + borders.
LFSF will be the only school represented that evening. Students under the guidance of teachers Megan Leppla and Manuela Vutrieu will perform and showcase their artistic works.
