Spring Break at Camp: Jam, Capes, and a Lot of Sunshine
Lycée Français de San Francisco | Spring 2026

Spring break camp looked a little different depending on which group you were in, but the common thread across all of them was pretty hard to miss: kids having a genuinely good time.
Pre-K campers planted seeds, painted watercolor butterflies, made bead shakers, and squeezed oranges into popsicles. The older groups cooked strawberry jam and pancakes, crafted superhero capes complete with origin stories, and spent a morning at the beach building sandcastles. Somewhere in between, there was also a bouncy house, dodgeball, human foosball, and a French spring song that may or may not still be stuck in a few teachers' heads.
"Their energy and creativity make this job such a joy. We feel truly lucky to spend our days with them."— Camp teaching team
There were quieter moments too: story time, observation journals, library sessions, but even those had a way of turning lively. That tends to happen when you put curious kids together with great teachers.
Thank you to everyone who made it happen: our teaching teams across both campuses, and the families who sent their kids our way for the week.
