How healthy is your Relationship Diet?


In one of the most watched TED Talks of all time, Robert Waldinger summarizes 75 years of research on what makes a good life: "Good relationships keep us happier and healthier. Period." 

Though the message sounds obvious, we wanted to make it relevant to students' lives.  We used the food analogy. Just as a healthy diet will give our body more energy, power and longevity, good relationships give us those same benefits.

We also asked them to think about group dynamics in their classes: who are they already close to? Who don't they know well yet? What would it be like for them to make the effort to reach out? How would they go about it?
