Who they are and where they go : Class of 2024

Our Seniors are a fun and eclectic group of 46 impressive students: some who have been at the Lycée since preschool - we call them lifers-, and some who only joined recently but quickly called our school home.

Our students' university acceptances and their outstanding French Baccalaureate results reflect their exceptional mastery of both educational systems and highlight their global perspective.

MEET ISABELLA

Isabella opens up the Senior Series season! During her 12 years at the Lycee, she founded the Lycée Girls Who Code Club and has made a lot of friends. Next year, she's going to Columbia University to study Computer science or Engineering. Learn more about Isabella's many talents.


MEET CEDRIC

Cédric is a Lycée Lifer. He is grateful for his specialty teachers who helped him these past years. Cedric has a great project for his future as he wants to have a career out of the ordinary that guided his choices over the course of the year... want to know which one? Watch his video!


MEET RHEA

Rhea has been at the Lycée for more than 12 years. She's now getting ready to move to Baltimore to study Biomolecular and Chemical engineering at Johns Hopkins University. Yet in her eyes, her biggest accomplishment isn't academic. You're curious about it? Watch her video!

Statistics on the destinations of our students in the world

WHERE DO THEY GO

  • 83% of our Seniors chose to continue their educational journey in North America, 4% of them enrolling in Canadian universities.
  • 17% will go to Europe, including 6% to France. 

This demonstrates the strength of our program and how their unique profile is helping them in their applications in some of the best universities worldwide.

The results of the 2024 French Baccalaureat were very impressive

EXCELLENT RESULTS TO THE FRENCH BACCALAUREAT

The fact that 100% of our students passed their French baccalauareate is only the beginning of the story! Additionally, 93% received a special recognition:

  • 41.3% received the highest honors (mention très bien), 2 students with a special mention from the jury!
  • 30.4% passed with high honors (mention bien)
  • 21.7% passed with honors (mention assez bien)

These excellent results demonstrate the high level of bilingualism achieved by our students.


MEET MELISSA

Melissa has been at the Lycée since Kindergarten. She's an artist and the president of the Art Club. She embodies the fact that Lycée, although academic centric, is also a place where you are supported in developing your creative talents. 🎨⁠ ⁠ Next year, she'll study at Boston University, in advertising or economics. MEET ANTHONY

Since he was a kid, Anthony has always liked computers and made sure to take all the extra computer science classes available at the Lycée! ⁠ Today, his determination is paying off and he’s going to study data science in the University of his dreams : UC Berkeley! ⁠ ⁠ Where does he see himself in 10 years? ⁠ ⁠ The answer is in this video! ⁠ ⁠ ⁠


MEET VIVIANNE

As a Lifer, Vivianne has been at the Lycée for as long as she can remember! At Lycée High, she founded the LGBTQ+ club. She hopes her involvement inspires more students to be themselves and embrace others. Vivianne is also a talented artist and will study at the University of Edinburgh for Fine Arts, next year!

MEET ADAM

Adam is a lifer and has countless memories of successful sports competitions with Lycée teams going back as far back as Elementary school. Next year, he's going to ESCP business school, London! 🇬🇧⁠ Before signing off, he gives us his advice for next year's Seniors.⁠


MEET CLEMENCE

Clemence is a Lifer. Next year, she will study at UCLA where she plans on going into pre-med, and later, maybe become a pediatrician as she likes working with kids. She is proud of her volunteer work and the many occasions she used to support the school and its fundraising efforts.


MEET ARAM

Aram has been part of the Lycée community for eleven years! Fluent in three languages, he's currently mastering a fourth. Next year, he's pursuing a rather unique field of study right here in California (at UC Davis): astrophysics! Curious to learn more? Enjoy his video.


MEET AUGUST

August is a Lifer. If he chose to meet in the office of the Director of Students Services, that's because he admits to spending his share of time there. Today, he's looking forward to studying neuro-science and art history at the University of Pittsburg. Check out what his recommendation to his younger peers is!


MEET JULES

Jules only started at the Lycée two years ago. He is facing tough choices habing been accepted in several very good universities. But he knows he wants to work in a space company later on because that's where his passion is. His problem solving skills apply to math, physics, trumpet playing, tutoring... and even cursing!


MEET CHARLES

Charles is ready to embark for new adventures in math and philosophy at Yale University! 🎓️⁠ Then he imagines himself on the East Coast, or even in in a big European city. Looking back on his senior year, he would encourage his peers to work hard and is thankful for the support he got from his teachers at the Lycée.

GRADUATION 2024

It’s the end of high school for our Class of 2024! They have proudly received their diplomas and collectively achieved impressive results on their French Bac exams and university acceptances.

Their graduation ceremony, featuring inspirational guest speaker and French American Michelin-starred Chef Dominique Crenn, was filled with emotions. Together, we reflected nostalgically on their years at Lycée and looked forward to their bright futures.
