Read this new edition of #HowWeGotThis in French and in English, and meet with Marie-Noëlle HENDREN and Nadine LE MAITRE, our primary school librarians on the Sausalito and Ashbury campuses respectively, who for the past 15 to 20 years curated our libraries of our primary campuses. 

ORT | Covid-19 Staff + Community Testing

Covid Testing will be organized for our staff and community on our campuses in January. If you traveled outside the Bay Area during the Holidays, we highly recommend that you register and get tested on one of our sites. 

CC | Diversity Equity Inclusion and Justice delegates 

6 student delegates spent 5 days at the Student Diversity Leadership Conference training to become Diversity Leaders on campus and shared their experiences.

Applications for next year's delegates will open in May for Grades 8-11 students. Contact the College Counseling team  if you are a student who is committed to DEIJ and wants to make a difference on campus!  #BecauseWeCare.

SEL | A glimpse of what happened in the past weeks

Introducing SEL at LFSF 

If you haven't already, meet LFSF SEL coordinator Victoria Dimitrakopoulos. Like LFSF students, Victoria is a an alumna of the French Educational system in North America and she is bringing her rich and diverse experience in leading the SEL program this year. 

Non-violent communication and negotiation

For the past few weeks, Victoria, students and parents had the opportunity to exchange about relationships, focusing on how to handle difficult conversations and manage conflict resolution.

A big shout out to the PA again, which sponsored the acquisition of retractable badge holders for LFSF students, making it faster and smoother for them to check in and out of campuses.

The badges will be distributed through the end of this week and in JAN when students will be back on campus.

AES | FEB Camp Updates

FEB 16 • 19 | Pre-K • Gr 5 students

February Camp will be happening on Sausalito following a similar format to our recent summer and Fall camps:  a mix of arts, crafts and outdoor activities around the theme of "Winter in France".
