Board of Trustees

Mission

One of the most important responsibilities of the LFSF school board is to be the guardian of the school’s mission. The board sets the strategic goals and establish policies and plans that reinforce the mission.

In addition, the board careful stewards the school’s resources and looks after the institution’s financial stability. It oversee operating budgets, ensures the preservation of capital assets and endowment, and actively helps raise money for the school.

The board works in tandem with the Head of school while focusing on its primary work on long-range and strategic issues.

Board service requires a significant commitment to the school and its welfare, observance of the highest ethical standards and principles of fiscal integrity, and a readiness to explore challenges and gain consensus with fellow trustees.
