makes our school accessible to ALL prospective students, without any French language requirement.

Discover the International Track

The International Track is the yin the to French track's yang! Delivering  80% of its program in English, it is open to students who do not yet have any French language.
It welcomes its youngest students in K and Gr1 on the Sausalito campus. Amina MAINE explains the IB approach used in the International Track and how it invites students to be fully part of their learning.
The International Track program continues on in Middle and High School.

Artist in Residence | Call for entries

APPLICATION DEADLINE MAY 31 2024

Action Beyond Words is the LFSF Artist in Residence program. Over the course of 3 consecutive years, it invites francophone artists* from around the world to to collaboratively create a visual art piece that integrates our diverse curriculum to produce a lasting artifact that can be displayed on our school campuses.

Ernesto NOVO was our first Artist in Residence this school year.

LFSF Senior Series

This series celebrates our Seniors and Isabella is opening the 2024 Season. During her 12 years at the Lycee, Isabella founded the LFSF Girls Who Code Club and has made a lot of friends. Next year, she's going to Columbia University to study Computer science or Engineering. Discover how she foresees her future and what she sees to be her LFSF legacy!

LFSF J'adore

George has been an LFSF parent for close to a decade. When he and his family made the LFSF choice, it wasn't an obvious one as his family lives in the East Bay. But with LFSF, they found "a school that not only broadens the mind but elevates the heart". Class'24 Isabella

Isabella is a Senior this year, and an LFSF Lifer. Of more than 1.3 million students in over 21,000 high schools, Isabella has reached the Finalist status in the College Board PSAT/NMSQT(National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) program giving her access to over $28 million dollars in college scholarships.

We are delighted to announce the inauguration and unveiling ceremony of the mural created by the Artist in Residence, Ernesto NOVO, in collaboration with LFSF students. 

The mural explores the themes of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, which resonates deeply with the rich cultural tapestry of San Francisco and features eight local icons, each selected by our students and symbolizing the values inherent in our community.

LFSF Digital Literacy Workshop

MAR 20 | ORT Library | 7pm

The LFSF Parent Association is inviting our community to participate in an exciting hands-on workshop on Digital Literacy, focusing on Digital Controls. This event is a must-attend for parents who want to learn about safety options for computers, phones, social media, and other digital platforms.

Rebecca

When Rebecca's parents were looking for an international school for their three anglophone daughters, they made the LFSF choice. Thanks to that decision, Rebecca has been able to learn in multiple languages and benefit from a Lycee education. Rebecca also leads the Coalition of Black Students and Allies student club, bringing in new initiatives designed to bring students together.

Arthur and Oliver for the LFSF series On Campus

Arthur and Oliver are both in Gr12, and very involved in the LFSF MUN ( Model UN) Club. They have been participating in that club for a couple of year and this year were selected as best delegates in the local meet. They look forward to meeting students from all states in the Spring stage of the debate competition, in New York. As seniors, they also reflect on their time at LFSF and the many opportunities they got to enjoy at the school they will miss when they move onto the next chapter of their lives.
