Our Lycée Bear MUN did not disappoint as students absolutely rose to the challenge!
From debating in committees like UNESCO, the IMF, and the Committee on the Status of Women, to connecting with peers from across the Bay Area, Florida, and Los Angeles, they made the most of every moment.⁠
Special shoutout to Rafi (Gr11) for his legendary “escape” in Roblox and to Simone (Gr10) for her standout strategy in the Council of Catherine the Great.⁠
After this energizing start to the MUN year, we look forward to the next competition, in February: SFMUN XI, hosted by Lowell High School’s Model United Nations Club.

This week, a (pretend) camping experience offered PK3 students a rich backdrop to learn about nocturnal animals and engage in meaningful, play-based learning — all without leaving the safety of their classroom. For children that age, imagining an adventure beyond the classroom and venturing into a make-believe natural world transforms lessons into tangible, sensory experiences.

Our Gr 5 students — together with our Gr 4 choir — took the stage with SF Opera Together, a program beautifully designed to introduce young audiences to the magic of opera. In this special performance, our students joined professional artists in a lively 45-minute adaptation of The Barber of Seville, performing for all students from Kindergarten and up.
