DEBATING
LFSF is hosting the North American Finale of the 9th edition of the debate competition, "Ambassadeurs en Herbe" (#AEH2021, Budding Ambassadors). Join us on MAR 18 at 9am PST, for this important student event!
LFSF is participating to the 9th edition of the competition Ambassadeurs en Herbe (Budding Ambassadors). Students are getting ready for the Finale of the North America Zone, happening on MAR 18 and hosted by LFSF. Go LFSF!
5 students represented LFSF in the North American Finals of Ambassadeur en herbe, in Washington DC, this week. The debate competition is initiated by the AEFE among French schools from around the world. Our brilliant students were coached and accompanied by Barbara Leloir and Alban Vidal. The winners will represent North America during the finals in Paris. For this 7th edition, the theme is "sciences and society, what world in 2050?"

Our Start'Up Lycée winning team was invited to attend the much anticipated 2018 Annual Hult Prize Finals and Awards Ceremony with Bill Clinton at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
In March, our Model UN club will be participating in International Model United Nations in NYC! Model UN is a simulation of the debates of the United Nations. Each team of students represent a country in the UN and debate different topics and policies with other committees. The end goal is for the countries to come to a consensus on how to solve different issues among the countries.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP
For this new edition of the #HowWeGotThis series, Olivier COMBEAU, LFSF Economics and Social Sciences teacher on the Ortega Campus, explains how the health crisis is changing his teaching approach and tells us more about his projects for the year.
The Annual competition Start'Up Lycée happened online on JAN 14 + 16. This year, the theme is "Food for good : Transforming food into a vehicle for change". Watch the Finale and discover the pitch of the winning team!
Start’Up Lycee 2020 kicks off on December 6th, 2019 at Ortega Campus from 1 to 4 pm.
The Startup Lycée program was initiated in 2016. All Gr10 students participate in this important event at the Hult International Business School. For the 2019 edition, students worked on innovative and sustainable solutions for the city of the future and the city of today.
Le programme Startup Lycée s'installe année après année dans l'écosystème de San Francisco. Cette année, le thème portait sur la ville du futur.
SCIENCE AND CODING
Since the beginning of the school year, students have been working on fascinating, fun yet complex mathematical problems they presented to the Math.en.JEANS Congrès. They shared their experience.

Dans le cadre de l'innovation Lab, les élèves du CP se forment à la programmation avec le robot Bee Bot. L'élève dessine des flèches et autres symboles sur des bandellettes lorsque le programme devient compliqué. Il suffit par la suite de pousser les boutons équivalents sur le Beebot pour voir le robot exécuter le programme.
Thanks to Jack Peurach and Bruno Delahaye, fantastic lycee's dads, Anton Ritzu was able to organize a fieldtrip to Ekso Bionics with all our 9th graders.
