CHAMPS ELYSÉES FILM FESTIVAL US TOUR

Organized since 2017, the US Tour of the Champs-Élysées Film Festival offers American audiences a preview screening of the "New French Generation" across the Atlantic, with the aim of showcasing emerging talents and new voices in French independent creation.
This event is also intended to be an echo in the United States of the action carried out in France by the festival, with the aim of creating a genuine cultural emulation between the two countries.
For its eighth edition, the US TOUR will stop in New York, Chicago, New Orleans, Portland, Vancouver, San Francisco, and Berkeley during October and November 2024. The festival will participate in the professional days of the Montreal Cinemania festival where it will also celebrate the partnership that now binds the two festivals.

The evening will consist of a screening of 7 French and American short films (subtitled in French and English), followed by a public vote for the best short film and a discussion. The high school student award for the best French short film and the high school student award for the best American short film, awarded by students in the cinema and audiovisual option, will also be announced.
A buffet will be offered during the intermission.
The festival aims to foster cultural exchange between France and the US by introducing American audiences to emerging French filmmakers and sparking conversations about cinema and society.
