WHO: Our school community ONLY : students from Grades 10 to 12 (Seconde à Terminale),  parents and LFSF employees.

Have you ever dreamt to be part of a Film festival with avant premiere films?

Here is your chance to participate in this exciting LFSF Champs Elysées Film Festival and vote for your favorite short film from the comfort of your home!

This November, TLF-Theatre du Lycée de San Francisco is organizing an Online Film Festival for the school community in collaboration with the Champs-Élysées Film Festival whose goal is to promote independent American and French cinema.

Two French feature films (opening and closing ceremonies) plus 8 short films (from France and the US) will be available online. 

The Festival is open for our school community ONLY:  students from grades 10 to 12, parents and LFSF employees. Each of you will vote for the best short film of their choice. The film with the most votes will be awarded the Audience Prize.

Additionally a student-led jury, composed of seven juniors and seniors (premières et terminales) chosen  by teachers, will grant the following Awards during the closing ceremony: 

  • Jury Prize
  • Writing Prize 
  • Cinematography Prize
  • Best female actor 
  • Best male actor 


  • Saturday, NOV 7, 2020 • 1:00pm to 3:00pm  
    OPENING CEREMONY with French feature film,  LE KIOSQUE (not in competition)
  • From Monday, NOV 9 to Thursday, NOV 12, 2020 • Between 5:15 pm to 8:00pm 
    Screening of 2 short films per evening (20 min to 30 min each) 
  • Friday, NOV 13, 2020 -  6:00pm. 
    Vote for Public Prize closed
  • Friday, NOV 13, 2020 - from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. 
    Jury deliberations on Zoom. 7 students chosen by their teachers
  • Saturday, NOV 14, 2020: 
    • 1:00 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. 
      Awards Ceremony on Zoom. YOU ARE INVITED!
    • 1:30 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. 
      CLOSING Ceremony with French feature film (not in competition)

Adult supervisors

Maelle Le Ligné, Barbara Leloir, Manuela Mpouané-Dikongué, Grégory Galin, and Arnaud de Fontenay have selected the 8 short films for the competition. 


The screening of the two featured films will take place over 2 weekends in order to facilitate the possibility of direct conversation with their directors in France. 

For the short films, a recorded introduction by each director will be presented on Zoom, from 5:00 pm to 5:15 pm, prior to their screening. At the end of each presentation, Vimeo links and temporary passwords will be given. High school students, parents, teachers will have until 8pm to watch the two short films each night (the approximate duration of the two short films is 20-30 min each).
